Calling All Bloggers – the NRC Wants to Feature You!
February 15, 2019

The NRC is seeking bloggers for this year’s Nutrition Month blogging campaign.
We welcome individual submissions on topics related to this year’s Nutrition Month theme: Unlock the Potential of Food.
We are looking for blogs that provide information and guidance, or spotlight a particular strategy or program, that will allow our audience of health promotion professionals and intermediaries to support their clients in choosing, eating and enjoying healthy food.
Why Take Part?
This is your chance to get involved with a community of like-minded people who share your passion for healthy eating and nutrition. Scholars: you can use this as an opportunity to promote and disseminate your ongoing research. Students and professionals, use this opportunity to expand your presence and get your content in front of some of Ontario’s leading minds in nutrition and healthy eating.
Submission Criteria
All blogs should be original content owned by you that has been fact-checked and edited. We are looking for posts between 300 and 600 words in length that are informative in nature, and written in language geared towards an informed audience of dietitians, students, and health promotion professionals working in a range of settings.
We ask that all submissions include:
- A copyright-cleared image that illustrates the topic of the blog post
- A short bio and headshot of the author
Have questions? Interested in contributing? Please send a copy of your blog post, photos, and bio or your questions to sblack@opha.on.ca by February 28, 2019. The NRC will review submissions received in February and into March.
We look forward to hearing from you!
