Grocery stores are cutting back on flyers and promotions — even though they’re making record profits

Canada’s largest grocery store chains are reporting a spike in profits, in part due to shoppers hoarding toilet paper, flour, hand sanitizer and more at the beginning of the pandemic. But what do these increased profits mean for consumers and grocery store workers?
