Getting Started with Healthy Eating in Your Recreation Setting
This resource package was developed to support community members and health promotion partners to take action to create healthier food environments in recreation settings across Ontario. Details on each of the six essential elements of a healthy recreation food environment are provided, as well as a business case, contract inclusions, sample policy recommendations, local success stories, and an extensive resource list. This project was a collaborative effort between the Ontario Society of Nutrition Professionals in Public Health (OSNPPH) and Nutrition Connections (formerly the Nutrition Resource Centre (NRC).
