Residential Food Waste Prevention – Toolkit for Local Government and Non-Government Organizations
This BC-based toolkit is a resource designed to help local governments or non-governmental organizations address the issue of preventable post-consumer residential food waste. It describes different food waste prevention program models and their components; offers guidance for identifying suitable approaches, based on a community’s size, capacity, and priorities; and provides an inventory of food waste prevention tools from various programs. A presentation about the toolkit can also be accessed here.
