Sandy Maxwell, BASc, RD
Sandy Maxwell is a registered dietitian and Senior Nutrition Policy and Program Analyst with Nutrition Connections (Ontario Public Health Association). She was a program coordinator for her children’s school Student Nutrition Program (SNP) for 10 years and supported SNPs as a public health dietitian for 20 years. She has created and delivered several workshops and presentations on each of the iterations of the SNP Nutrition Guidelines for program staff and volunteers. Sandy led the writing phase of the revised 2020 SNP Nutrition Guidelines along with members of Ontario Dietitians in Public Health, Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (Ontario) and Student Nutrition Ontario.
Kelly Ferguson, MScFN, RD
Kelly Ferguson is a Registered Dietitian at Southwestern Public Health and a member of Ontario Dietitians in Public Health. For the past 6 years, Kelly has been the Community Development Coordinator for the Student Nutrition Program in Oxford County (part of the Ontario Student Nutrition Program – Southwest). In her role, she works directly with program staff and volunteers to support the implementation of the nutrition guidelines through site visits, resources and workshops.
