Description
Watch this webinar led by Metabolic Syndrome Canada to learn about the exciting release of a new nutrition toolkit to help Canadians change their eating habits to prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes. These highly sought tools and resources were developed to support the implementation of a 12-month diet and exercise program called CHANGE (Canadian Health Advanced by Nutrition and Graded Exercise) that can be available through family doctors’ clinics across Canada; but are now being released for public use by registered dietitians, health professionals, and individuals wishing to make healthy dietary changes.
The NU-CHANGE toolkit (NUtrition Toolkit for CHANGE) includes recipes, videos, tips, and fact sheets to help people make lifestyle changes based on the latest evidence and their specific health goals. The toolkit was created by Metabolic Syndrome Canada, the creators of the CHANGE Program, by building on work from Paula Brauer’s team at the University of Guelph, feedback from the CHANGE registered dietitians, and funding from the Helderleigh Foundation.
