A detailed report published by Public Health Ontario (PHO) as an evidence primer to inform the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care panel in the planning of a provincial obesity reduction strategy. The report includes three main parts: (A) causes, trends, strategies for measuring and monitoring; (B) the effectiveness of interventions; and (C) programs or initiatives implemented by other jurisdictions and Ontario public health units.
