Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth – A Childcare, School and Recreation/Community Centre Resource Manual

The Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth were developed to help assist in creating an environment which provides and promotes healthy food choices and healthy attitudes about food. This document includes: nutrition guidelines for children and youth, summary recommendations,  and a food rating system for foods served in childcare facilities, schools, and recreation and community facilities. Please note that in Ontario, schools must comply with PPM 150: School Food and Beverage Policy.
