Cook It Up! How-to Manual – Planning, Implementing, & Evaluating a Community-based Cooking Program

This manual describes how the London Community Healthy Resource Centre approached the development of a community-based cooking program for at risk youth called Cook It Up! It provides a possible template for other communities to adapt or modify to their community’s needs. Background and details on funding, recruitment (steering committee, program coordinator, participant’s volunteers, chef’s), program development, budget, and sustainability is provided, along with sample documents.
