Good Laws, Good Food: Putting Local Food Policy to Work For Our Communities
This toolkit was formulated to provide a starting place for food policy councils to understand the basic legal concepts surrounding local food systems, develop a base of knowledge about the main policy areas, and discover examples and innovations from other cities and states – in response to growth in the number of new local food policy councils. As a toolkit, this document is intended to serve as a reference for food policy councils, food advocates, local policymakers, and non-profit entities.
