Obesity: A burden across the life course
A substantial proportion of the Ontario population – both adults and children – is obese, and an even greater proportion is overweight. This is a result of several decades of increase and cannot be attributed to just one cause. Obesity is a complex issue with a negative impact on the health and quality of life of Ontarians. This Infographic looks at the causes and impact of obesity, how it is measured, disparities in obesity, and at obesity statistics among various segments of Ontario’s population.
