This US-based report describes changes in sodium content of processed and restaurant foods, and brand variations between 2005 and 2015. It also describes a new policy approach proposed in New York City to include sodium warning labels on restaurant foods. It concludes with recommendations for governments to develop program and policy levers to reduce sodium.
