This handbook can assist your community in creating and maintaining a healthy food environment within your work site and/or your local recreation facilities. This is a step by step guide including recipes to help create a healthy food environment. It is encouraged that those using the manual seek support and additional resources from their Public Health Nutritionist. The resource includes: tools for developing, implementing and evaluating a nutrition policy; tips for dealing with opposition; standards for healthy food and beverages; and recipe ideas for food concessions and kitchens.
