A resource guide for health care providers to promote implementation and maintenance of the Baby-Friendly Initiative across the health continuum. The objectives of the resource guide are adapted and updated in alignment with the World Health Organization (WHO)/UNICEF’s Baby-Friendly Initiative (BFI) and has been field tested by several Ontario healthcare organizations. Evidence-based key messages are arranged in a step-by-step rubric with the complementary evidence and resource listed adjacent to each step for quick reference.
