The Influence of Sugar-Sweetened Beverage Health Warning Labels on Parents’ Choices

This US-based research report describes a study that examines how health warning labels on sugar-sweetened beverages (SSB) may influence parents and which labels are most impactful. This study finds that health warning labels on SSB improved parents’ understanding of health harms associated with overconsumption of such beverages and may reduce parents’ purchase of SSB for their children.
