A special supplement issue of 7 published articles on forces that influence eating habits from the Canadian Journal of Public Health. The aim of the supplement is to bridge the knowledge gap and provide future research directions to improve the nutritional health and chronic disease prevention in Canadians. The articles provide an evidence base for key stakeholders to understand the effective health promotion strategies for advocacy work to improve the nutritional health of Canadians.
